CASHIER'S CHECK FRAUD ALERT

Please be advised that a company using the name “MSC Global Research Services” is circulating counterfeit cashier’s checks bearing the name of Parkvale Bank. (Please keep in mind that information from Parkvale Bank systems were not compromised in any way.)

The counterfeit items display the routing number 243073852, which unfortunately is assigned to Parkvale Bank. The face of the counterfeit check is gray and white in color and imprinted with the name and address of Parkvale Bank in the upper left hand corner with the notation of G.C. Services on the memo line.  All items bear the account #7523992011 and are payable in the amount of $2,985.

Please examine the image of the counterfeit item below. Be aware that the appearance of counterfeit items can be modified and additional variations may be in circulation.
