It's Safer Than Cash
If a terminated employee misuses your Visa Business Debit card, the Visa Liability Waiver Program will cover losses up to $500 per card for businesses with two or four valid cardholders, and $15,000 per card for businesses with five or more valid cardholders. Time limitations and other restrictions apply, so it’s best to report any misuse immediately.

• Although the Parkvale Visa Business Debit card carries the Visa logo, it is a debit card, not a credit card. With the Parkvale Visa Business Debit card, transactions are deducted directly from your Parkvale Bank business checking account. But since the card carries the familiar Visa logo, it is accepted anywhere you use a credit card today.

• At the cash register, when you’re presented with a choice for selecting “credit” or “debit,” select “credit”—the transaction will still be deducted from your checking account, you won’t have to reveal your PIN, and your purchase is backed by the power of Visa. In fact, if you use your PIN for a particular purchase, that purchase is not protected by benefits such as Purchase Security or Extended Protection.
