Parkvale Bank's Central Link Team is comprised of more than 100 employees from corporate headquarters in Monroeville, Pa.

The Central Link Team participates in a "Friends to Friends" bowling event at Nesbit Lanes in Plum.

CENTRAL LINK TEAM COMMUNITY PARTNER

Broadening its support for those in need, Parkvale Bank’s Central Link Team recently transferred its charitable energies to an organization called Friends to Friends. Friends to Friends, Inc. is a non-profit organization funded solely by private contributions. The Friends to Friends League was established in September 1995 by George O'Donnell. Mr. O’Donnell is a parent of a special-needs child, who realized the need for increased awareness and respect between children with and without disabilities in a social environment.

Friends to Friends brings special needs and non-special needs children and their families together in a social environment through sports activities such as bowling and baseball. For more information about Friends to Friends, visit its web site at: http://friendstofriends.org.

CENTRAL LINK TEAM OUTREACH UPDATE

To raise funds for “Friends to Friends,” the Central Link Team organized a number of fundraisers including a Fat Friday Bake Sale, St. Patrick's Day Cookie Grams, silent auctions, car washes, a Strawberry Festival, Summer Snack Sales and various breakfasts, luncheons and raffles.

Also, in accordance with Breast Cancer Awareness month, Central Link dedicates its efforts to the Susan G. Kolman Organization with a breakfast sale, bake sales, raffles and a Halloween luncheon throughout the month of October.
